I remember when I was a kid. That was a long time ago, but it was in Scotland and our beloved game was cowboys and Indians. We used to play in an area that we called the woods. Then there was the big woods and the wee woods and they were breathtaking natural wooded base grounds where we could play undisturbed all day.
These places were a kids heaven with lots of big trees just begging to be climbed and plenty of hiding places so we could compete with all the other kids in our games of cowboys and Indians. Just like on Tv, my beloved then was 'The Lone Ranger". Our guns were a piece of wood and our games were lots of imagination and lots of fun. I still have a wee scar on my knee when I crawled on a piece of glass stalking some pesky indians. A very small setback for the noble task at hand.
Then when my kids came along there were real seeing guns available, six guns that fired caps and other guns that fired corks and rubber bands. You could get guns that fires wee darts and wee balls and all sorts of combination's. I suppose kids will always be fascinated with guns. We bought our 14 year old his first .22 rifle for his birthday and he used to shoot rabbits from his bedroom window.
That has all changed now as guns have been outlawed after the last massacre. But that is Ok because person invented the laser gun and parks opened up where you can go and have virtual wars with these toy laser guns. I had a go once with some kids and got shot up pretty bad. Although I must admit it was exhilarating and I unquestionably enjoyed it. Of course all the big boys now have their skirmish games where they can get into a real war and blast each other with paint bombs.
But at last they have made the toy laser tag gun ready for kids at home. What a great idea. Kids just love this new innovation just as they always have loved guns and gun games. These things now shoot lasers with sound and recoil and register hits and are very realistic and allow the kids a great degree of skill in their aiming and shooting. The toy laser tag systems now will let you merge a module so you can plug into your Tv and continue your laser fun. These systems are so good that there could be some serious competition from Dad wanting to play to. There is always the option to get extra guns and add to your army and keep on playing.
It is going to be a big hit with your kids. Got a birthday soon or a big treat due. Go for a toy laser tag system. They will love it.
